transition-group has stutter when component updated elsewhere

Steps to reproduce

Use test1, test2, or test3 buttons to see transition without stutter.
Use test4, test5, or test6 buttons to see transition with stutter.

What is expected?

No stutter

What is actually happening?

While the DOM is updating, the transition restarts, even though the portion updating isn't a child of anything transitioning

It's even more noticeable with non-linear transitions. As a workaround, you can wrap the content into a component and pass the content through a Store instead of props but that's quite cumbersome.
