Unit tests

Currently, 24 unit tests are broken:

1. [done] We have to fix them.
2. We have to also decide what level of unit test coverage we would like to target for this repository.
3. After deciding on the target coverage we have to create unit tests for existent code.
4. All new tasks/fixes should be covered with unit tests.

@nkumar-topcoder do you have any preferences here?

For now, we have to do:

• Fix unit tests that are failing. Don't remove the unit test if it's failing try to fix it, so it could do what it was initially created to test. If the related code has been completely removed, then the unit test could be removed.
