Feature Request: Push Notifications

OMG! The new forums show notifications!

Was on the new forums page, and observed a notification at the bottom left of a new discussion that was just created! Totally impressed. ❤️ it.

Is it possible to use the browser's push notifications here - member can give permissions for it and every time there is a new discussion, the browser notifies the user. Right now, it seems like I can see it only if I have the discussions (any discussions.topcoder.com) page open.

@callmekatootie - We haven't forgotten about this one. It's not supported by Vanilla out of the box, so we'll have to implement some things. Not sure when it'll be done.
