Past challenges: NumOfSubmissions for design challenges includes checkpoint submissions

In some cases(past challenges) the number of submissions (numOfSubmissions) returned includes the checkpoint submissions. So when the frontend adds numOfSubmissions + numOfCheckpointSubmissions, it gives the wrong number.
