'Last Login' Date and time calculation is incorrect

Steps

Go to : http://qa.arena.topcoder.com/#/a/home
Login via valid user
When the Registration Phase is Active
Click REGISTER
Then expand the 'Profile Overview & Important Messages'
Check the 'Last Login' section

Expected Result

Must fix the Issue,

• Must display the previous Login Date/Time (instead it is showing current login date/time)
• Check with Arena Applet

Actual Result

'Last Login' Date and time calculation is incorrect

I am not clear about the problem, since the date displayed is already the "Last Login Date" as of the latest bug_bounty_3 revision.

The timezone calculation seems to be wrong in this.

I logged in at 3:26 PM CST, and this is what I see:

@huangqun, it is not super critical, but it has been opened for 2 months, and the reason I say F2F is that it wasn't picked up by the last bug bounty, if you think it will get fixed in the next bug bounty that is fine.

Why don't you add it to the bug bounty but if it doesn't get fixed you run a F2F in the few days of the sprint?

@mhikeo what environment are you using? qa.arena.topcoder.com is being decomissioned, so that won't work.

If you are using a local dev environment (a VM provided by one of the copilots) you should be able to login with lightspeed / password

If you want to use our new QA environment, put these entries in your hosts file:

Hi @mdesiderio. Here's what I did:

1. Using the link http://qa.arena.topcoder.com/#/a/home, I tried logging-in using the accounts provided but unsuccessful.
2. I also tried updating my hosts files. I'm unable to login thru the arena page but was able to thru topcoder main site. When I went back to the arena main page, it was able to pickup the credentials.
3. Tried setting up locally. I was able to run the app but unaware as to the values I need to modify in file config/dev-local.sh. Do I also need to setup the backend?

With regard to the issue, I think this is a backend issue so better if you can guide me thru the backend setup to verify if this is the case. Thanks.
