Narrator does not pronounce NumericTextBox placeholder in Edge

Narrator does not pronounce NumericTextBox placeholder in Edge browser.

Reproduction of the problem

1. Start Narrator
2. Navigate to https://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/numerictextbox/validation in Edge
3. Focus the NumericTextBox

Current behavior

When focused in Edge using Narrator the placeholder value is not announced.

Expected behavior

The placeholder value is announced as with NVDA and Firefox
