In "Validation Groups" section, just below example configuration, is written:

With this configuration, there are two validation groups:

• Default - contains the constraints not assigned to any other group;
• User - contains the constraints that belongs to group Default (this group is useful for Group Sequence);
• registration - contains the constraints on the email and password fields only.

But has 3 groups in list (Default, User and registration).

I guess a better description would be:

With this configuration, there are two validation groups in addiction of Default

There are two validation groups in the configuration. The Default group is the entity, which in the example is User. The documentation is unclear because there are three items on the list, when in this case Default and User are the same group. For Group Sequence, however, User should be specified, not Default.

I suggest rewriting the list as follows:

With this configuration, there are two validation groups:

• User - contains the constraints that belong to no other group, and is considered the Default group. (This group is useful for Group Sequence.)
• registration - contains the constraints on the email and password fields only.

The Group Sequence section then further clarifies why 'User' should be used rather than 'Default'.
