Mark, I created a pull request and tested this on my machine but I don't have any idea what kind of automated tests are expected here from me. I couldn't test anything in a clustered environment, so I didn't put the use SSL parts there but I'm happy to do that too if you help me with that a bit

Hi Balázs Németh,

Redis + SSL requires stunnel to be set up which would require changes to our build infrastructure. I'll add some polishing to your commit and add the test to verify the settings arrived in the lettuce driver. No worries, all good
