How to define Alias field type?

How to define alias field type while there is no options for

You can define an alias by writing a custom json mapping.

How should adding this to a @Field annotated property work? The value of such a property could not be written to Elasticsearch as the alias cannot be used in indexing or updating. The alias is not stored in the _source, so on reading from Elasticsearch such a Java property could not be populated.

What would be your use case and how would you like to be able to use this in Spring Data Elasticsearch?

@sothawo yes, use @mapping, with mappingPath to the json could be, while it can be considering as a workaround / (not straightforward)
Use case: there are multiple indexes with different fields, e.g. product index, order index, with different fields name. By using Alias field, we can harmonize the common fields when search all those index.

I think we could add something like an aliases property to @Mapping; that would be an array of something like @MappingAlias having a name and a target. That would then write these entries mapping.
