Based on my understanding of the documentation, I'd expect all 12 tests to pass. The case that I'd really like to pass is where there's a single constructor. In this case, if neither Charlie or Delta is available, I'd expect Spring to inject an empty set which would match the behaviour for an Autowired setter described in Juergen's comment on SPR-6777.
