It is not documented anywhere. I had to look at compiler code to see what it does (!).

Do you mean for the JSIterable code?

I think that code no longer uses it. It uses @JSBracketCall but the way it is used is not clear from the documentation. You'll find some dicussion of either on gitter I think.
