Anyone compile/run this in JetBrains RustRanger?

Rust newbie here, though I've been coding computer graphics since '76, C++ since it first came out, used the original GL on serial number 000049 SGI Iris, & Java mostly since then (so you can talk to me like a third-grader instead of a kindergartener... ; )

Created the project in RustRover using their create from VCS process & the GitHub link. It all gets downloaded & managed in a project but automatically tries to compile and I see:
error: failed to run custom build command for fermium v0.1.4

Has anyone brought this into RustRover & solved this startup/config (I'm guessing) issue?

@wbpaley (continuing here) what fermium is trying to to is build SDL2 (the C library). That would be the "custom build command" that failed. I'm not familiar with building SDL2 on an M2. You'd have to look into that, since I don't have an M2 myself.

The main alternative would be to try using an alternative setup for getting a GL-using window opened. Glutin or glfw might give you less fuss. They'd have different window initialization and event loops, but the GL usage would be the same.
