Motivation

Zed is a code editor that is quite popular and built with Rust. It is continually evolving in features and is frequently discussed on popular tech podcasts and conferences. It's free and open source, and allows you to bring your own model for AI features, which is really great. I see it being the cursor competitor but highly rooted in Rust.

Maybe the page looks too weird with the extra line item? Otherwise I see no drawbacks

I can't imagine that maintenance will be required. The website domain https://zed.dev is unlikely to change. If something needs to be changed about it, I'd be happy to create a PR to make sure things are up to date 😄
