The scrollable part of the scrollbar has low contrast with the background

I thought I was going mad but indeed, the dark bit is the part of the scrollbar here that is grabbable:

This coloring is coming from rustdoc, not docs.rs, if I'm not mistaken?

The scrollbar is rendered by your browser. Rustdoc does set scrollbar-color however. In any case on some other platforms it is perfectly legible. For example Firefox on Linux:

That rendering style has a lot more affordances for sure.
