Hello everyone.

I faced the same problem with table auto-merge while using Python docx library. My issue is that I haven't found a way to minimize further the gap between tables, the one in pct.1. I have constructed separately all the required tables but when I add them consecutively python auto-merges that tables, hence the different structure I applied in the creation of these tables, is failing. The "add_paragraph" solution at the previous issue isn't what I try to achieve.

However, when I manually delete the empty line, the output is exactly what I want. Word keeps the tables separately and acknowledges the fact that they are two different tables. Is there any other option that the empty line work-around that has been mentioned in the other post? Or can we expand this work-around to the extend that the line takes a size like in picture 2 that is following below?

I would really appreciate your help on this issue. Thank you in advance for your reply!
