Following issue #1812, I wrote a short tutorial notebook on "updating priors". It illustrates the effects of using posterior distribution as prior for an new inference iteration. Some code is also provided to wrap the empirical distribution in a custom Continuous class. Please let me know if you think it's useful or if you would like me to make changes.
