Checkbox is checked or not is not clear in dark and high-contrast mode

Actual Behavior

When clicking the checkbox of auto-refresh in light mode, it works fine, but in dark and high-contrast mode the checkbox becomes dark, which confuses the user whether the checkbox is checked or not.

Expected Behavior

It should show the ✔ in all modes

Steps to reproduce

Steps:

1. open p5.js web editor
2. click the auto-refresh checkbox
3. Click on the setting icon, change light mode to dark mode or high-contrast mode
