[BUG] The Heatmap colorscale is black on Mac Mojave Safari browser

Plotly version 1.45.1

On Windows 10 with these browsers:

• Chrome
• Firefox
• Microsoft Edge

My plot renders very well

But on Mac Mojave & Siera on Safari browser I have a black color scale

I dont get any error in the console, so I can't have a clue what is happening!!!

Could you try to find which version of Safari you're using?

• to open https://codepen.io/etpinard/pen/xexrwV to see if it renders ok on your setup?
• tell us a bit more about how you're using plotly.js? For example, does this.plotContainer.nativeElement come from a js framework?

Basicaly I am using angular 7

so the this.plotContainer.nativeElement is equal to

this.plotContainer.nativeElement === document.getElementById('myContainer');

very weird, I can't understand why on my app I get this issue

I'm guessing this is about a <base> element, and we need to incorporate context._baseUrl into Drawing.gradient, like we do in Drawing.setClipUrl

• step 1: before doing anything wait for the example to render the plot. now you should see this

• step 2: then select the about page

-stpe 3: then select the home page again.

on the step 1 the url is https://angular-eezqzs.stackblitz.io
then url is changing to https://angular-eezqzs.stackblitz.io/about
back again to home page the url is https://angular-eezqzs.stackblitz.io/home

something is hapening on the base url
