It might be good to still have 11 (in addition to 12) on nightly. It's quite useful to test multiple versions. |

We get some mysterious failures on macOS on GA with no evident error.

This is a blind attempt to solve it. There are many similar reports (actions/runner-images#7509 (comment)), but there's no clear resolution.
