I'd like to suggest people, not term length first. So how about

1. first collecting names only
2. have nominees restrict their term length if they want voluntarily by commenting on their nomination
3. in the end have independent votes for each of the three term length positions.

Sounds good. First find who is interested. Then find out what is the max term they would serve for. And then arrange the election.

1. how to encourage diversity for the composition of the executive committee / executive director / working groups? Diversity of representatives in governance bodies #366
2. should the voting process be different, can nominees see how individuals voted or just aggregates

Thanks @alee, I find geographic diversity included in our values statement. I would also raise the questions how we would assess (geographic and other) diversity, as we cannot want to expose nominee's identification with aspects of diversity ...
