Need site page/section for tracking OMF history

We should have a site page or section where we can present OMF history (e.g., meetings and workshops) and any documents (reports, papers, etc) that have some out of these.

I can work on this issue. IMO, it would make sense to create sections for meetings and workshops and documents in the About page. Any other thoughts?

yes it would be good to have those sections. And hopefully we will get also sections on training and education.

And do we want to conceptualize these as more static pages that present and make available different kinds of information. Or do we want to think of it as a collaborative endeavor like standards?

It can be a collaborative effort if there is a use case for it e.g. if we want allow people from the OMF community to add any upcoming workshops or meetings to the page.

Should we generalize the category workshops and meetings to events? I can add subsections like past and upcoming events.

Hmm. Good question. What about educational things like summer schools and the like?

We could still have a dedicated education page/section. On the education page/section, we list the education events and then below this list, another link that reads 'Other workshops and meetings' and directs you to general events section which includes workshops, meetings and events.

I don't think it would hurt to nudge users to view upcoming/past events and endorse our own events more than once.
