How can I indent the root folder label and also indent its children?

Hello, I've been a neo-tree user for the longest time and I'm switching to NvimTree. I want to know if it is possible to indent the root folder 1 space and also indent its children 1 space?

This is how it looks like:

And this is how I want it (this is Neo Tree):

That isn't possible. Once again, I'm not really seeing the use case, as everything but the root folder will be indented.

Children folders usually come indented below their parent folder which is not the case with NvimTree... That's why I wanted to add an indent. I think Signcolumn 1 or auto:1 adds 2 spaces instead of 1. In any case, customization is not always a bad thing (look at Neo tree)...
