Unable to parse ipv6 host or dsn

Using the latest package version, I can't use ipv6 for host.
It can't parse the host and return this error :
No suitable servers found (serverSelectionTryOnce set): [Failed to resolve 'PARTIAL_IPV6']

It doesn't parse properly the address, only selecting the first part before the ":".
If I put the address into [], it doesn't work too.

Is there any solution ?

I tried various dsn, with [], without, etc. Nothing work. I spent some time looking at my database but it accepts ipv6 conections from Compass.

For example, one of my try :
'dsn' => 'mongodb://USERNAME:PASSWORD@IPV6:PORT/DATABASE?authSource=AUTHSOURCE',
Always the same error. With the same string, I can log with Compass.

Did you whitelist the server address ? Sometimes, this kind of hosting don't have fixed ip address, so you need to whitelist all ipv4/v6 range.

Hello @AsymetricData, sorry I though it was fixed by reading the last comment.
It looks like the solution is to enclose the IPv6 with square brackets.

I submitted #2595 to fix the DSN format when an IPv6 is provided in host config.
