Exporter dies on startup if one or more databases are not accessible #1

Description
For example when setting up the exporter to monitor two different clusters on one host, if one is down, then the exporter cannot be started. One gets an error like
2018/06/21 14:22:32 could not create db instance: could not ping db: dial tcp [::1]:54321: getsockopt: connection refused
