"twister-example.py" uses a unknown function "rescale()". 

You probably have the function rescale() since you do so much programming in python, but newbies don't have this function. You should provide the source to this function if you are going to use it in a demo / example program. If rescale() is in some commonly available library module, then let us know where to find it.
