Adding another language pack

I guess this could be labeled "minor-ask".
If someone were to add another translation for every module (the "i18n" folder), would it be added in the default Magento2 package? Or it's settled that it would come out with just those 7 language packs?

All the files are translated and ready to insert in the "i18n" folders

Rephrasing: can the community contribute to the default language packs shipped (eventually) with Magento 2? Can it add other languages (by "add" I mean translating the English version)?
