select an array in variable list does not update/reset view if that array was already selected before

This is only slightly annoying when you want to reset the filter by clicking on the same array (you have to move to another array then come back) but it is much worse, when the array was completely changed in the mean time by an expression and you want to see that particular array, which is not even visually selected, so you cannot "guess" what the problem is.
