Used preprocessor directives.
Tested with Unity 6000.0.31f1 and Unity 2022.3.9f1.
No warnings show up on the console when launching or importing the project.
This also addresses the lack of Lumin post 2022.2

Addresses #171 and #172

used preprocessor directives, so it should be backward compatible.

I've created a new PR, with some more instances of non-U6 code.
