Electron has ended support for Windows 7/8/8.1 in version 23.x.y following Chromium's plan to end support. Older versions of Electron will continue to work, but no further updates will be made for these operating systems.

With #752 merged, we will receive discrete PRs for each major update, like this one.

Running this branch locally, so far it all looks good.

Will run this for a few more days to confirm, before repeating for v24 -> v28

Awesome! Maybe we could also release these updates one at a time? That would get us the most feedback and ensure we haven't missed anything.

I agree. Really need to get to the bottom of the macOS notorize to do so. I've poked around and done some reading, but nothing obvious sticks out to me 🤔
