Is it possible to set the encryption type to avoid "Weak Security" message?

When connecting to ESP32 with SoftAP I get a message on iOS that says WPA/WPA2(TKIP) is not considered secure.

It looks as if there is a way to change the encryption type to AES using esp-idf however from what I gather there is no method that allows changing this in arduino.  Is that correct? 

Do you happen to know of a workaround to get this going?

Fixed in #5122, which was released in 2.0.0. Just upgrade.

Yep, my mistake it is pulling in in 1.0.6 not 2.0.0. It's a platformio issue now.
