Description
The config.guess file in use (from 2012!) is out of date and is unable to properly detect the host architecture on ppc64le systems.
Copying the system config.guess file over the obsolete provided one seems to work:
cp -Rp /usr/share/misc/config.guess config.guess-am-1.11.4
This impacts arduino/Arduino#8778
+ cd automake-1.11.1
+ patch -p1
patching file automake.in
+ cp ../config.guess-am-1.11.4 lib/config.guess
+ ./bootstrap
main::scan_file() called too early to check prototype at ./aclocal.tmp line 618.
+ CONFARGS=--prefix=/disk/arduino_rebuild/GIT/toolchain-avr/toolsdir
+ ./configure --prefix=/disk/arduino_rebuild/GIT/toolchain-avr/toolsdir
