An error is thrown when I click in the editor, or output view

Describe the problem

Whenever I click in the open editor or in the output view, I see an error.

To reproduce

Open the dev tools (to see the error), and click anywhere; editor, output view. See the error. Please reference the attached screencast.

Expected behavior

No error is thrown.
