Provide a way to force recompile all files, or a specific file

#419 was closed as "declined," which I take to mean it won't be implemented.

When I'm trying to clean up warnings in code, it's nice to be able to force-recompile a file that compiled successfully.

Describe the current behavior

Only cumbersome ways to do this exist.
