Verify toolbar icon does not show verify is in progress

Describe the problem

IDE2 is used to show (with yellow) when a verify is in progress. It does not work anymore.

The "in progress" button color is not yellow with the light theme.
With the dark theme, it seems like it's disabled.

To reproduce

Open IDE2,
Click on verify from the toolbar

Expected behavior

It's the same as with the rc-8:
