Latest version on there is 0.1.1 at time of writing, where this is now at 0.3.1.

Hi @dansiviter. The PlatformIO library registry is a 3rd party service. Arduino doesn't have any involvement in that registry and there is nothing in the codebase hosted here that will cause the problem you are reporting. So it is off topic here. You should take it up with the PlatformIO registry maintainers.

My guess is that the problem is that the registered repository URL is https://github.com/facchinm/USBHostMbed5.git, not https://github.com/arduino-libraries/Arduino_USBHostMbed5.git. The library was transferred from facchinm's account to the arduino-libraries organization so GitHub does redirect the original repository URL to the new one, but it might be that the PlatformIO registry system does not follow the redirect.
