Workflow for contributions?

I forked the project to add some extra functionality to the datepicker module. What's the easiest way to go about doing this? I know I should add code in the src/ folder, but how can I easily preview my changes?

Is the fastest way to just build the entire project and preview the demo in the dist/ folder, or is there a development version I can preview somewhere? Thanks in advance for any advice!

@thomastuts workflow is pretty standard:

Please note that there is a work in progress to refactor datepicker (see #1599) so you might want to make sure that you are in sync with the code from a branch used by this PR.
