Temperature conversion status bit can sometimes hang

In theory, looping and checking the state of bit 7 in the Status Register (0x02) should work:

But there have been a few cases where this bit seems to not update:

and so the wait-for-conversion loop never exists.

Communication with the ADT seems OK otherwise. Can do low level I2C xfers. Can even do a software reset.

Closing for now. I don't think this is fully understood, but a combination of removing the ready-wait and updating CircuitPython firmware seems to have fixed all cases.
