IntelliJ plugin, Gradle, Kotlin, Java version upgrade

Description

We cannot use contemporary version of many libraries because of outdated versions of Gradle, Kotlin, Java. Additionally, newer version of IntelliJ plugins are build with Java 11.

Expected behavior

Newer libraries works are compatible with UnitTestBot for Java.

Any.

Potential alternatives

We could try to workaround issues with libraries, for instance, create some bridges to make their APIs compatible with Java 8. It seems even harder approach.
