codeclimate fails because it does not understand go generic: Error code.go:5:16: expected ']', found any (and 2 more errors)

could we please just upgrade to the latest go version from time to time? codeclimate is currently not usable at all in the go ecosystem.

I wonder if codeclimate is still an active project or simply does not care about golang
