What changes in bb6fea2 require cmake 3.29? A cursory look though the cmake files looks like the most modern features actually being used is ~3.15, so would it be possible to lower the minimum version?

For reference:
Ubuntu 24.04 is on CMake 3.28
Ubuntu 22.04 is on CMake 3.22
